This species can
be found in every province in Canada. Eastern larch tends to reach a medium
size with a slender trunk and a narrow crown. It is found most often on
wet sites mixed with black spruce (Picea mariana). Larch wood can
be used for any number of purposes including general construction, crates
and pulpwood. It is particularly useful in areas where structures are
going to come in contact with water. |
