Work and Research Experience

Works:      

* Worked as research assistant for Dr. Fan-Rui Meng. My last jobs were mainly collecting, processing ring data and building a site index model in Newfoundland. Now building a hydrological model to predicting soil texture in Black Brook Watershed is my work.    

* Served as quantity surveyor in No.5 Bureau of the State Water and Electricity in China (2000~2002).

Research Experience:  

* Attend the International Conference on IGARSS, in Denver, USA (August, 2006).    

* Attend the International Conference on Land-Cover and Land-Use Change Processes in North East Asia, in Harbin, China (February, 2005).  

* Participation in the National Project—“The Research on Forest Felling and Regeneration System” (2001BA510B07-02). My work in the project is to collect ground forest data, analyze TM image (2003-2005).   

* Participation in the Project “Research on Distributing of Territorial Carbon Content of Forest and Analyzing of Energy Current Based on the Technology of RS, GIS and GPS” sponsored by Northeast Forest University. Surveying forestry sample site in the field, building GIS of investigation zone, disposing remote data and modeling biomass is my task (2003-2005).
