Graduate Research Assistantship Available

May 7th, 2009

Funding is available for a highly motivated student to work on a cutting edge forest mensuration project  combining digital photography with laser technology. The system has the capability to implement angle count sampling (prism sampling) and measure upper stem diameters. Student projects include: system development and calibration; double sampling applications, and ratio sampling applications. Interested candidates should contact me – include a CV and statement of research interests.
